Dress your best. You should dress not only to look your best, but to feel your best too. If you put on a sexy outfit that makes you feel self-conscious, you're not going to look or feel confident. "I'd rather talk to a girl who looks comfortable in a long skirt than someone who's trying to rescue her chest from spilling out of her tank top," says Kumar, a 30-year old graphic designer. Don't hold back, Kumar.

Practice your walk. Pull back your shoulders, tuck in your tummy and walk in a manner that is self-assured and approachable.

Make eye contact. Look him in the eye, but don't engage him in a stare-down competition. Occasionally gaze at his lips while he speaks.

Laugh. Laugh when you think something is funny, but don't fake it. "I once dated a girl who laughed at everything I said," says Sunny, a 25-year old engineer. "At first it gave me an ego-boost, but after a while it got annoying." Genuine laugher, on the other hand, makes the people around you more comfortable.

Use common scents. Spray perfume in a small quantity on your legs and in your hair. Don't overdo it and choose something subtle.

Pay attention to your underthings. Select and wear the appropriate undergarments. The right underclothing helps your clothing fall better on your body. Karim, a 24-year old accountant, asserts "Nothing is a bigger turn-off then underwear lines under tight pants. Buy a thong!"

Select flirty footwear. Boots, high-heels and strappy sandals are all good choices, so long as you can walk in them. Choose something stylish, but comfortable.

Express your opinions. Be well-read on current events, music and culture. Don't be afraid to show your intelligence and express your views. Explains Rodrigo, a 28-year old lawyer, "Good conversation is a turn-on. If all she wants to discuss is the next desi jam, well, that can get boring."
